The Engineer Company - Since 1902

The Engineer Company was founded in 1902 in New York City. More than 40 years ago, the company moved to New Jersey. Over the years, our company has been providing quality products to our customers. The Engineer Company is leading the way in designing and manufacturing equipment for the fuel burning industry. All of this collective field proven experience offers an unsurpassed wealth of knowledge in design, development, and the manufacturing of packaged burner, ignition, flame safeguard, and fume oxidizer systems, as well as pump and heater sets. TEC has set a standard of quality and performance and has found wide and successful use in many applications including general station, industrial powerhouses, stationary and marine boilers, process furnace and kiln installations.

Also, TEC designs and furnishes combustion control systems and flame safeguard systems. All our company equipment designs are the result of many years of field proven experience: our systems are in service handling a full range of commercial liquid and gaseous fuels, as well as, different kinds of fluids and sludge. Our most recent development is the replacement of dampers and actuators with Variable Frequency Drives to power the Forced or Induced Draft Fans on the windbox. This step has resulted in power consumption of less than 50% of the constant speed motors and is supported by utility companies in many locations, nationwide.

The Engineer Company welcomes the opportunity to work with customer personnel and consulting engineers in the planning stage of the project. Our engineers are prepared to advise on the latest and best in equipment, systems, and technologies for your application. We have found over the years that this early planning approach not only makes for a better installation at lowest first cost but also gets your unit “on the line” much more quickly. Our more than 100 years experience and engineering know-how can be of invaluable help in insuring the success of the project while keeping construction and operating cost at realistic levels.
